The overall product is a great idea. Workmanship on the one I received was pretty bad. It looked like there were some welding issues. The frame had a metal patch where they may have blew a hole in the metal. The paint job had a few bare areas on the bottom of the frame. I tried to contact the company but received no response.Good features: Wide tires, soft grips with end caps, bars and stem are a real-world design, seat post and fastener are good. It looks like a real bike.
Bad features: The steering angle is too steep and make this thing turn too easy. The seat is too big and increases the stand-over height. The frame could be shorter to reduce the stand-over height. The welding is terrible. The seat stay tubes do not need the extra bend, which adds tubing and weight. The frame tubing is unnecessarily big in diameter.
The person that designed this does not ride bmx bikes and it is obvious because a lot of these flaws wouldn't exist out of the gate. Not that a toddler needs it to be perfect, but just the steering angle alone would reduce the learning curve on this bike.
I think its a good product that could be a lot better without increasing costs.
