I have always been a fan of plan toys first for the fact they are made of wood and are non-toxic. I have also always preferred them because of their durability. However, that is not the case for this wooden trike. My son is very gentle with his toys, only used it inside and weighs 28lbs and today he was riding it around on our tile floor and the bike literally broke in two (the seat broke away from the handle bar portion of the bike). My son fell to the floor and luckily did not cut himself on the four large screws that were sticking out stripped, with wood still on them. At first I was going to recommend this bike to my friends but I am so glad I hadn't yet. For a toy that is over $100 you would expect it to last through all your children and then some, not break after ONE week of moderate gentle use!Plan Toy Wooden Trike Overview
